Angelite Crystal Bracelet
Angelite, also known as anhydrite, is a calcium sulfate crystal that forms when gypsum and celestite minerals are compressed and dehydrated over millions of years. This process can occur when seawater evaporates, leaving behind layers of sediment that eventually turn into anhydrite. Angelite is often found in sedimentary rock formations.
Angelite is a relatively common mineral, but good quality specimens are rare. The lilac-colored variety is known as angelite, and is named for its heavenly color. Angelite can be translucent to opaque, and pairs well with other pastel-colored gemstones, or can complement orange and red gemstones. It also looks nice with sterling silver or other light-colored metals.
