Blue Tiger Eye aka Hawkeye Point

Blue tiger's eye (falcon's or hawk's) is a naturally occurring bluish to bluish-gray semi-precious gemstone. This stone is quartz metamorphic rock made of quartz (silica or silicon dioxide) with some embedded crocidolite or blue asbestos inclusions that give it the characteristic color.

Blue Tiger Eye is formed when the mineral crocidolite, which is blue in color, is replaced by silica. This process gives the stone its unique color. Blue Tiger Eye is typically found in South Africa and is considered rare, making it sought after by collectors.

Blue Tigers Eye has been found in very large deposits throughout Brazil, India, Canada, and Namibia.
