Clear Quartz is Part of the Quartz family. It is also known as Rock crystal. It is colourless and is transparent to translucent. It is formed in igneous conditions, when magmas cools, the silicon dioxide in the magma crystallizes.

Clear quartz, a colorless and see-through variety of this mineral, is commonly found in igneous and metamorphic rocks, as well as in pegmatite veins.
