This plant is a tropical perennial... When it first arrives you will have to water it in until you see new leaves!! Prune the dying leaves back throughout the year.
The bulbs under the ground will get larger and larger and you will have more and more come up each spring.
When you're buying this particular item in person it will come in a 1 gallon pot if you are shipping this item it will come bare roots in a ziplock bag.
